Fast GUI tools for Printer
pt
pt is a small tool to view and manage the print jobs of CUPS. pt is
written in GTK+ Small and fast. For
using pt one has to install cupsys-pt
package.
gtklp and gtklpq
gtklp is a frontend of CUPS; based on GTK2. It has almost all CUPS options
including printer spooler manager gtklpq. Below are screen shots of gtklp.

mtink
I have Epson Stylus C20SX printer and I use mtink with this printer. mtink is a small GUI tool to check ink quantity as well as other tasks like printing of test patterns, changing and cleaning cartridges etc. mtink has been designed for Epson only.
printtool
Tk-based printer configuration tool with auto detection.
printconf
This is a command line tool for printer auto detection and configuring with CUPS. I like to mention it because it is a great command based tool. This package detects printers attached to the parallel or USB ports and automatically establishes printer queues using Foomatic for those printers. These queues can be managed using the CUPS web interface at http://localhost:631/
